Eyebrow Lamination

What is lamination?

Brow Lamination is designed to straighten the brow hairs, resulting in full, lifted, and fluffy brows. Simply follow the 3 step process to get all your brow hairs to stand in your desired direction. We recommend pairing lamination with tint to achieve bold and enhanced results.

How does lamination work?

When Step 1 (Brow Perming Solution) is applied, the chemical process breaks down the bonds within each hair, allowing them to morph and move into a new shape. When Step 2 (Brow Fixing Solution) is applied, the hair bond remodels into a new shape. Step 3 (Brow Keratin) is applied at the end of the treatment to restore moisture back into the brows and skin.

How long does lamination last?

If you follow the correct aftercare, the results will last between 6 to 8 weeks. We recommend applying Brow Gold Oil to the brows every day to restore moisture back into the brows. For maintenance, your laminated brows will need to be styled every morning by brushing and setting the hairs in place.

Do you have instructions available?

The instructions for all our products are outlined under the product description on the website.

What is the aftercare for lamination?

By following the correct aftercare, you can achieve longer-lasting results. We’ve compiled a list of our go-to aftercare tips, which should be followed for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment:

  • Keep brows completely dry.
  • Use Brow Gold Nourishing Growth Oil daily to keep the brows nourished and hydrated.
  • Do not apply make-up or undertake further eye treatments.
  • Avoid swimming, saunas, and working out. Any excess moisture can cause a slight curl or frizz to the brow hair.
  • Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat.
  • Do not apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours on either side of the treatment.
  • No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior and 48 hours after treatment.

Is lamination safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

Lamination is not safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. There is a risk of the chemicals sinking into the skin and potentially entering the bloodstream. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional.

What is the recommended service timing?

Step 1 and Step 2 of the lamination process should be kept on the brows for 5 to 8 minutes (no longer than 9 minutes). Step 3 can be removed from the brows 2 hours after treatment. After removing Step 3 from the brows, we suggest applying Brow Gold Nourishing Growth Oil.

Eyebrow Waxing

What type of wax does Brow Code offer?

We offer a Microwaveable Brow Styling Wax. This product is a hard wax and does not require any strips.

Do you have instructions available?

The instructions for all our products are outlined under the product description on the website.

What temperature do I heat my wax?

The Microwaveable Brow Wax generally takes 80 seconds to heat up, however, please note that this will vary depending on the microwave's wattage.

Heist Brow Soap

What does a Brow Soap do?

Brow Code’s Heist Brow Soap is designed to lift, hold up, and lock down your brow hairs for a full and fluffy brow look. You can use the nourishing brow soap for touching up your brows daily.

How do I use the Brow Soap?

All you need for application is an Eyebrow Spoolie, Rose Water Spray and of course the Brow Soap itself. Simply dampen your spoolie with the rose water mist, rub the bristles into the soap product and apply to your brow hairs using upward and angled strokes.

Can I use water instead of Rose Water to dampen my spoolie?

While it is okay to use water, the Rose Water Spray has further benefits. The hydrating ingredients in Rose Water mist activate the Brow Soap and prepare the hairs for product-setting. Rose Water will also moisturise the hairs and keep them in shape all day long.

Can I use Heist Brow Soap on sensitive skin?

Thanks to natural extracts like Shea Butter, Cocoa, and Turmeric and the highly nourishing Hyaluronic Acid, Heist Brow Soap is gentle and soothing on skin. It is suitable for use on all skin types and has no chemical side effects.

How long do the results last?

You can expect an all-day hold with Heist Brow Soap. For maintenance, you will need to style your brows every morning.

Is the Heist Brow Soap water-proof and sweat-resistant?

Yes! We have made sure the product contains sweat and water resistant properties so your brows stay put all day long.

Is Brow Soap the same as regular soap?

Absolutely not. Regular soap for the hands and the body is designed to cleanse and remove dirt by using an anti-bacterial formulation. It can often dehydrate the skin and strip it of moisture. However, Heist Brow Soap is designed specifically to be worn on the brows as a cosmetic product, not a cleanser.

Rose Water Spray

What is the mist used for?

Brow Code’s hydrating Heist Rose Water Spray has been created as a preparation mist for the Heist Brow Soap. Rose Water activates the Brow Soap product and allows for flawless application, with a sleek brow finish.

What are the benefits of using the Rose Water Spray?

Rose Water is packed with benefits for the skin and hair, providing everything from moisture to irritation soothing to refreshment for the face. Our Rose Water spray is packed with anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial properties. To find out more, read about five ways to use Brow Code's Heist Rose Water Spray.

Can I have an allergic reaction to rose water?

Rose Water is not known to have a harmful effect on the skin. In extremely rare cases, it may cause a slight tingling sensation on dry skin, but only when used directly to spray on the face. In the case of Brow Code’s Heist Rose Water Spray, there are no chances of you experiencing an allergic reaction as it is used in a bare minimum quantity, primarily to lather Brow Soap product.

Alias Brow Lamination Gel

What does the Alias Brow Lamination Gel do?

The Alias Brow Gel makes it easy to style your brows, achieving three in-trend brow looks. Alias features a buildable formulation that fixes the brows into place.

Can you grow your brows with a lamination gel?

The Alias Lamination Gel will help in adding thickness and strength to your brows, but not actually growing them faster. We recommend using our Brow Gold Nourishing Oil to promote growth in the brows.

Will a lamination gel help me achieve the same results as eyebrow lamination?

No. Eyebrow lamination is a semi-permanent brow styling treatment, involving chemical perming and fixing solutions to straighten the brow hairs and make them fuller in appearance. A Brow Lamination Gel does not involve the use of chemicals on the skin and will not straighten your brow hairs like a Lamination Kit does. It is a daily use brow product that helps in the upkeep of the brows.

How long do the results last?

The Alias Brow Gel is designed for long-lasting wear and an extreme firm hold, lasting the whole day. It is also sweat-proof, smudge-proof and water resistant.

All instructions are available on the Alias Brow Lamination Gel product page.

Creamades Brow Pomade

What is the Creamades Brow Pomade?

It is an innovative hybrid brow product that combines a cream and a pomade. The Creamades Brow Pomade is ideal for creating a bold, defined brow look by filling in sparse areas of the brow.

How is it different from a regular pomade?

The Creamades Brow Pomade features an ultra creamy texture that glides over the skin and hair. It is more lightweight and smooth compared to the gel-based structure of a regular brow pomade.

How do I apply it to my brows?

Use an angled brush to lightly fill in desired areas of the brow. Brush with a brow spoolie to disperse the product evenly. We recommend using our 123 Micro Stroke Brush or 122 Define & Line Brush for flawless application.

What's the difference between a brow pencil and pomade?

A brow pencil is great for mimicking natural, hair-like strokes and defining the arch of your brows with precision. A brow pomade is better suited for adding depth, colour, definition and boldness to the brows.

Will the cream base hold on oily skin?

Yes. It is because of the hybrid cream-based formula that the Creamades Brow Pomade provides a firm hold on the brows and makes the hairs stay in place all day. The lightweight formula is suitable for all skin types, including oily and combination skin.

How many shades is it available in?

The Creamades Brow Pomade comes in a complete six shade range - Ash, Taupe, Soft Brown, Chocolate, Dark Brown, and Granite. View the product page for complete colour imagery.

I have never used a brow pomade before, is this suitable for beginners?

Yes, the Creamades Brow Pomade is easy to use and suitable for beginners. It involves a simple one-step application process, using an angled brow brush. View the product page for detailed instructions.

Imitations Micro Pencil

How do I use the Imitations Brow Pencil?

Using the micro tip end of the pencil, draw small hair-like strokes throughout the brows according to the shape and arch you desire. The spoolie end of the pencil is used to set and brush the hairs in place.

I have really light brows, will the brow pencil be too dark for me?

The Imitations Brow Pencil comes in six versatile shades, designed to suit all skin tones and hair colour. View the product page to find a shade suitable for light brows.

Should I choose a lighter or darker shade than my skin tone?

As a general rule, you should use an eyebrow pencil that is a shade lighter than your natural skin tone. This will create a soft, natural enhancement in the brows. If you have extremely fair skin, you may choose to go for a shade that’s 1 or 2 times darker than your natural tone.

How long do the results from a brow pencil last?

The Imitations Micro Pencil has an all-day wear, due to its sweat and water resistant formula.

I have really sparse brows, is a brow pencil enough to fill them in?

A brow pencil is great for filling in sparse brows as it has a very precise application. Make sure you disperse the product through the brows with a spoolie for an even result. You can also pair the Imitations Pencil with a Brow Soap, Pomade or Brow Gel for a complete brow look.

Brow Gold Oil

What does the Brow Gold Oil do?

The Brow Gold Nourishing Growth Oil is an aftercare oil for the eyebrows, created with a mix of natural oils that nourish, enhance and promote healthy growth of the brow hairs.

What's in the oil?

It is blended with five beauty industry favoured oils, popular for hair growth - Castor Oil, Argan Oil, Rosemary Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Geranium Oil.

When do I need to use the Brow Gold Oil?

We recommend using the brow oil once daily, to restore hydration and nourishment to the brows. It should be used as an aftercare product following all brow styling treatments.

Can I grow my eyebrows quicker with the Brow Gold Oil?

Yes, the oil will promote growth in the brow hairs and make them appear both thicker and longer.

Is there real gold in the Gold Oil?

No, the Brow Oil does not contain any real traces of gold. It is however packed with many nutrients, antioxidants and essential vitamins.

Is the oil okay to use with my regular skincare products?

Yes, the oil features all-natural ingredients that are gentle, soothing and moisturising on the skin and hairs. The formulation is also cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulphate-free, synthetic-fragrance free and vegan. It is safe to use with any other skincare products.

How much do I need to use?

Apply one droplet to each eyebrow and massage through gently. We recommend using the Brow Gold Oil once daily for stimulating regular growth and nourishment.

Will I experience any side effects?

Side effects after using the Brow Gold Oil have not been noted as the oil is simply a growth stimulating substance that does not involve any chemicals and is applied in a minimum quantity on the brows. If you notice any stinging or discomfort after using the product, we would recommend wiping it off immediately, stopping its use and consulting with your doctor or skin professional.
